THE OASIS ANNEX

Situated on the western edge of the Rock View Ranch along the north-south Rupununi road, The Oasis offers meals, accommodation, and other traveller services to Guyanese and international tourists. Four private guest rooms are available; meals, snacks, hot and cold drinks are served all day and night long. Hammock accommodation is also available. The Oasis is a scheduled stop for regional IntraServ coach service, while most minivan journeys pull over here for refreshment as well.

It is a pleasant 10 minute stroll along a cashew-nut tree lined road between the Oasis and the main Rock View grounds.

NOTE: as of spring 2012, Intraserv cross-country coach service remains suspended. Minivan service is often hampered by road conditions, making daily TransGuyana or chartered air service the most reliable means to reach central Guyana. Contact us to discuss your travel dates and arrangements.
