PRICES SHOWN IN US DOLLARS, PER NIGHT. All inclusive rates include a fruit basket and fruit juices in the room, full use of the grounds and swimming pool, guided tours to the village of Annai, the Panorama Nature Trail, local bird watching and evening drinks before dinner. Additional activities available at extra cost include: horse riding, boat trips to the Rupununi River, birding requiring transportation, day trips to the Iwokrama Canopy Walkway, the village of Surama, the Cock-of-the-Rock site at Wowetta and other community based activities. Community rates are offered to active-duty community development workers with VSO, Peace Corps, Project Trust, World Teach, Pro Natura, or others. PRICES SHOWN IN US DOLLARS. The Toyota HiLux carries one to four passengers in the cab. The Bedford carries 5 passengers in the cab plus up to 18 in the covered rear bed. Overnight stays require transfer cost plus accommodation expenses for driver and other accompanying staff. Vehicle availability in the Rupununi is severely limited so delays or unexpected changes are always possible. It is common practice to offer unused seats in vehicles to local community members. This good-neighbor practice does not impact scheduling or pricing of ground transfer/vehicle hire services. Schedules changes seasonally… as of spring 2012, TGA is offering two daily flights each day, visiting Annai at approximately 1130hrs and 1330 hrs. Contact Rock View Lodge for updated schdeduling.Confirmed bookings for all TGA flights are subject to availability and require full payment. Rock View Lodge is the Rupununi’s one and only authorized ticketing agent for Trans Guyana Airways. Credit card payments are accepted and carry a 4% fee to cover bank costs.
PRIORITY BOOKINGS are bookings taken less than 72 hours prior to departure.
CHARTER FLIGHTS: Groups of 4-12 may wish to charter an aircraft on a schedule of their choosing. Contact our office for details. This can be an especially convenient way to visit Kaieteur Falls on your way into – or out of – the Rupununi, saving the time and expense of remaining in Georgetown an extra day to board a Kaieteur day trip.
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR TGA BOOKINGS Travellers with standard bookings incur a 20% cancellation fee regardless of date of cancellation. Priority bookings incur a 50% cancellation fee.
